SUBTRACTIVE VARIABILITY AUTO

Felipe Pantone and Case Studyo gift us with this bew collaboration. The spanish artist involved in Beyond the Streets and the belgian design studio realized together this artistic project, with the title “Subtractive Variability Auto”. Like in the PANTONE ‘Subtractive Variability series’ project that aims at showing “complex chromatic effects”.

Case Studio says: “The three rotating acrylic discs create unexpected combinations, to a point in which the piece can show a tone that represents the absence of any color, a shade of balck. The sculpture casually explores the color spectrum and the entire range of emotions triggered by each shade. The elegant mechanic movement capture the surrounding light, allowing the piece to generate a surprising result and always developing, which encourages the viewer to embrace the change and find beauty in it.”
